Independence Day

 India got Independence on 15thAugust, 1947. • The sacrifices of our national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Netaji and many others have given freedom to India. • 76th Independence of India is to be celebrated on 15thAugust, 2022. • On this day, the Prime Minister raises the national flag at the Red Fort every year. • We sing our national anthem on this day. • On this day, all schools arrange different cultural programmes. • Independence Day is a colourful occasion in India. • On this day, we distribute sweets to our relatives and friends. • Jawaharlal Nehru was the first person who gave speech on the Independence Day. • The declaration of freedom was the happiest thing to India.

  Tour to Puri with My Parents Three years ago I went to Puri with my parents. I was amazed to see the charming big sea. There was a lot of sand on the sea beach. I made a sand castle. Our hotel was in front of the sea beach. I used to see the sea throughout the day from the hotel room. I played with my parents on the sea beach. We had a lot of fun together.
